programs

All of our programs below include airfare, transportation, lodging, food, activities, guides, chaperones and a service project. We plan to partner with local schools and community organizations in Atlanta for our first group of students and expand to more cities as we raise more funds.

Ghana.

As a major center of Pan-Africanism, Ghana encourages Blacks from all over the Diaspora to visit and “return home.” Beyond it’s history as a major port of departure for the Middle Passage, Ghana has a rich history and culture that pre-dates slavery. This tour includes visiting various historical and cultural sites, including taking in Ghana’s natural beauty, and cultural immersion into rural village life.

Colombia is the site of San Basilio de Palenque, the first ‘free town’ in the Americas, founded by those who fled a life of slavery in colonial times, has been preserved intact in Colombia. It’s a unique place, famous for its culture, language, gastronomy and, of course, its history.
